I USED ALL GOOD STUFF AND DID THINGS CLEANLY BECAUSE I WANTED A FACTORY LOOK. COULD USE A SMALL STALL CONVERTER.īOTTOM LINE IS I WAS BUILDING IT TO BE NICE DRIVER. THE COLD AIR INTAKE IS JUST SITTING ON THE STOCK PASS SIDE BATTERY TRAY, I WAS GOING TO SCORE A STOCK AIRBOX FROM A NEWER TRUCK AT THE JUNKYARD AND RUN THE PIPE TO THAT. THERE MAY BE OTHER MINOR THINGS BUT ITS PRETTY COMPLETE. I MOUNTED THE STOCK A/C COMPRESSOR WITH LS BRACKETS- BRACKETS BUT DID NOT FINISH WIRING FOR THE A/C TO WORK. I HAVE THE HARNESS RUN INSIDE AND ITS LABELED. I INTEGRATED THE FUEL LINES WITH FITTINGS AND PUSHLOCK HIGH PSI INJECTION HOSE. NEW TRANS LINES ARE PUSHLOCK AND SQUEEZE CLAMPED AND WRAPPED. i WAS GOING TO NOTCH THE FRAME AND DROP THE REAR AND GET SPINDLES FOR THE FRONT. I THINK ITS A 2"/4" KIT BUT WAS ON THERE WHEN I BOUGT IT.

CHASSIS: HAS BELTECH SPRINGS UP FRONT WITH NEW BALL JOINTS AND CALIPER ON DRIVER SIDE, HAVE JOINTS FOR PASS SIDE BUT NOT HAD TIME TO INSTALL. THE SEAT HAS A RIPPED SPOT ALONG THE TOP IN THE BACK. I HAVE A 14 BOLT REAR THAT IS THE CORRECT BOLT IN REAR THAT WILL GO WITH THE TRUCK.

I NOTCHED THE CROSS MEMBER TO ACCOMMODATE THE EXHAUST (NOT A PROFESSIONAL FAB GUY BUT IT WORKS) REAR IS STOCK AND LEAKS. EXHAUST IS BAND CLAMPED TOGETHER FOR REMOVAL/CHANGING IT EASIER. BUG Y-PIPE INTO 3" THRUSH WELDED SOUNDS OK. I BUILT THE HARNESS AND ITS NEAT AND TIDY. 1-2 SHIFT IS SLOW AT WOT, BUT I READ THAT THATS COMMON FOR A STOCKER. STOCK USED 4L60E TRANS WITH DEEP ALUMINUM PAN AND NEW FILTER. THE CURRENT ENGINE IS 4.8 LS MOTOR THAT I RE-RINGED, NEW ROD BEARINGS, BILLET TIMING CHAIN SET, COMP CAMS THUMPR CAM, HEADS MILLED, CLEANED UP AND MATCHING COMP SPRINGS. THE MOTOR WAS SLUDGED UP BUT RAN OK WHEN I BOUGHT IT, THE TRANS DIED WITHIN 100 MILES OF MY OWNERSHIP. HE SHAVED THE TAILGATE AND DID A CHEAPO BED LINER. THE BACK WINDOW MUST LEAK BECAUSE BOTH CAB CORNERS HAVE BUBBLED UP ON ME. ITS A GREAT DRIVER QUALITY BODY AND PAINT. IT WAS RESTORED AND PAINTED BY THE P/O BUT HE HAD TO USE IT AS A DAILY FOR A BIT AND AS SUCH IT SHOWS. THE BODY HAD DINGS AND DENTS BUT NOT MANY. THE UNDER SIDE OF THE BODY AND FRAME, LINES ETC IS IN GREAT CONDITION. THE TRUCK IS FROM THE SOUTH AND HAS NEVER SEEN MD WINTER. I JUST DO NOT HAVE TIME OR SPACE TO FINISH IT.
